4300K can look yellow if the beam pattern is not spread properly using a diffuser. Well not yellow but can look 'un-xenon' if hooked up wrong which is why most aftermarket kits are 6000k, as you get the typical crisp white light associated with xenons.

Be aware If you dont already have xenons you will need the full conversion kit (i.e ballasts and lead to connect)

you can get the proper replacement lamps 4300k from www.hids4u.co.uk 50 quid each

8k produce a very blue light. No vehicles other than police, ambulances and fire engines are allowed blue light of any kind to be on the car. 12k is purple lol and pointless as a normal lamp has more lumens lol

8000K is illegal end of.

OE (i.e. standard) are 4300K 6000K are the one to go for , 8000K are illegal as they are too blue put them in at your own risk

True, on the other hand, there was no need to up the power of the 172 to 182, they never done with the gt turbo, valver or the mk1 172. I would be suprized that in around 18 months-2years time a renaultsport 202clio is out

The cup car is currently stated on Renaultsports website as 205ps (i think , who knows could be bhp) Certainly revisions to the engine will need to be made...............this will only go on how the corsa VXR and peugeot 207 gti fair against it, even then I can see Renault sitting back on...

It SHOULD have 194bhp, the fact of the matter is I doubt it even has that. Slow it is not, unfortunately its not that quick either, sure its a step forward in many areas, but critically it falls short on thrill, excitement and genuine pace

Renault need to revise the engine to match the cup cars 205ps IMO and actually make sure it is a genuine 200bhp this time that plus cup packs and finally they will be in business The current effort, even though I like it, is a long way short of the 182..........a long way short

lol at 12k on mechanics alone part. Must break down a lot then and 250bhp NA on a 2.0 would require a f**king mammoth engine. Steel bottom end, forged pistons, very high CR stupid lift and duration cams, trick headwork, trick exhaust and a stupid rev limit Have seen it done on a Vauxhall XE though

Engine was the basic 3.5 litre V6 , naturally aspirated, although its not secret that the xj220 is simply a twin turbo'd version of this engine. The swap is relatively speaking easy to do and most used in rally cross are not twin turbo'd I simply adore the metro 6r4, if i saw one on the road...
