I tend to change mine a bit more often then that tbh For the sake of £15 and a bit of time it's good to know you have fresh/decent fluid in there. Especially if doing track days or you're spending a bit on new discs and pads you might aswel stick some fresh fluid in while you're at it imo

No worries Austin , yep just a good quality dot4 that can be used on road/track .Won't have to change it any more often than any other dot4 .

Presuming you've looked in the cars for sale on here mate? There's a few in there atm that's just had belts done , one being sold by Daniel for circa £2200 iirc Also put a thread up in the proper Wanted section you might get more views in there

The ATE Superblue is decent stuff I use it and recommend it. 1 litre will do it mate Often gets overlooked doing the brake fluid, supposed to be every 2 years by the service schedule iirc. Makes a difference and its pretty cheap to do

I could have a look at prices for Brembo discs for you if you wanted as well , just another option like if they fit ^ Doesn't sound ideal, is that how it comes with the kit then from new

Glad you've got sorted mate. It's the same spacer/ washer that I mentioned before. It can sometimes get thrown away by mistake as can become stuck to old discs on removal.

We swapped for a few days, and i drove it a fair few miles so wasn't a 5 minutes round block sort of thing mate. Not slating the ctr, far from it Dan. It's a very good hot hatch and I liked driving it. I just preferred my 172 :)

Good honest review, pretty much spot on of my experiences with them both. Gearbox is great in the Honda but preferred driving my ph2 172 more than my mates Type R tbh.
