Sounds like an excellent idea to me, though as Simon says, someone has to pay for it.
It'll stop people having cars with invalid insurance due to mods, and would certainly speed things up if a claim was made.
I'm looking forward to benching the new one I threw together on Friday.
Athlon X2 4800 as my budget couldn't accomodate an FX60 this time
DFI Lan Party
2 x Radeon X1900XTs 512mb
2gb Corsair XMS.
BTW Wozza, the latest nVidia drivers have finally fixed the problem we were having with Unreal 3...
If I'm reading the question right, you want to know if it's worth getting the 182 over the 172.
It depends on a few things IMO. Personally I'd pick the 182 but only because it's the newer model. Performance wise there's next to nothing in it, a fag paper wouldn't split them. Handling wise a...
y0z used to have a velcro thing that supported the lower back.

If I was feeling a bit tender there is no way on gods earth I'd be able to drive the roads I do in the Trophy. It's hard enough at the best of...

You've been upstaged by a girl.:rasp:
And a girl who's sleeping with an insurance broker. lol
I noticed mine dripping in the garage at first. The damper was soaked in oil. I remember it banging and bouncing when 4 of us were in it going to Oulton Park. By the time the garage got it there was no oil left.
I think we know why yours failed, it's all that bouncing around you do in the...
I was really lucky with my 172. I purchased a Monaco Blue import new on an 03 and traded it in 15 months later for a main dealer supplied 182 with 30% discount.
I got roughly a grand less for the 172 than if it had been a UK car, but I'd saved well over that buying an import. That's not so...
When mine went in they did both. The service guy said they figured they might as well do both while the bumper was off, he probably noticed how they had scratched one of my wings while doing it!!!
Rear shock RB....I had the same on the 182 just before I chopped it in. By the time the garage...
It's a bumper off job which takes a couple of hours. It the ball pops out you can often get away with just buying a new stalk and swapping the ball, but if it leaks that's a replacement stalk needed.
I'm really lucky. I got my 182 on 30% off Friends and Family, so 12 months old with 18500 on the clock it had lost £1k. My Trophy is still worth more than I paid for it!!!
If I'd not got them both with a discount I'd be seriously out of pocket.
Re: And Now To Work...
Excellent. Hopefully it'll run for longer than it did last year. :(
I'm going to have to pop up and see this aladdins cave of cars. :D
Re: And Now To Work...
What I'm more interested in is the Lohen Mini, well more importantly the hot young females the owner had with him at the Tuner GP.;)
