Not driven it anywhere yet. I had one in the 182 and it makes it breath a tiny bit easier higher up the rev range, but they make very little difference.
I fitted because it will save me on the next service. The dealer said they would fit it at my next service if I wanted, but that would still...
A couple of weeks ago my car went in to get the engine mounts replaced, a common 182 fault. As usual they diagnosed the problem I'd already explained to them, and sent me on my way as they didn't have the parts.
After that day the car had a new rattle/knock, which I thought was possibly...
I had exactly the same with my Magnex on the 172. Thanks to y0z who thrashed it and destroyed mine. lol
I just left it, although it was a bit loud and boomy on the motorway.
Don't they have a lifetime warranty? I remember sending my warranty card off.
There is a dipstick, it's right down the bottom at the very front of the engine. It's easier to get at in the Cup as there's no aircon pipes. Still not easy though.
I'm too lazy to use different oil, but I do get it changed every 6k at my local Renault Dealer.
I never tracked my 172, but I did the 182, plus a fair few trips to Santa Pod.
12 months old and 18500 miles when I traded it in, it was due it's second exhaust and one of the rear dampers had leaked dry. Other than the usual knocks and rattles there's nothing major that seems to go wrong on...
That's the one. Should be a group of us if everyone can make it. It's a motoring holiday reunion track day. I've not booked yet though as we aren't sure everyone can make it.
If we do you'll not be able to miss us. 2 Trophys, at least one V6, a VX220, a 182, a 172 Cup, and probably y0z2a with...
Sounds like you've had a good day. :D
I'm looking at booking Donington next month, once the weather has improved. Then I'll do the Renault Sport track days, and possible a trip over to the ring again at some point.
I've ordered pretty much the same spec only with an FX60 today, had to drop the Crossfired X1900s though and instead got one X1900XTX and two LCD monitors, plus some massive hard drives seeing as it's for our audio guy.
My boss reckoned I shouldn't be wasting money on the FX60, but I'm still...
The hubs are different as is the track due to different wishbones.
On the 172 Cup the wishbones were the same but they made it winder with the offset of the wheels.
I'd go with the Cup ones as they'll give you a wider track.
It's not a problem though. You may see it as one because you don't like adverts. You chose to use ClioSport as an example, but most sites have ads, so it's a general tech question, and you stand more chance of getting a response in here.
Maybe a better title would have helped though, maybe...
They just wouldn't sell in decent numbers.
I know Renault also have a problem with certain colours being used on Renault Sport cars as the bumpers are supplied ready painted. Maybe white is one of those colours.
I'd have loved the Trophy in white, but your average punter would have prefered...
y0z had his wheel replaced twice under warranty IIRC.
Provided you didn't do something to break it I'm sure they would swap the gaitor under warranty, if not I'd give them some grief.
Welcome to ClioSport.
We're getting a lot of ex Evo/Subaru owners on here lately. Seems like the Clio offering the grin factor and lower running costs, as well as being pretty handy on track is what does the trick.

Got to build another one next week, think I'll see if I can stretch to an FX 60 to play with this time.
Wouldn't buy half the stuff I buy for work for my own home use. I just do it because I can, and it's nice to play with new toys.:D
It's all going to be options, and there won't be a white one. As much as I'd love it in white, and would have liked the Trophy in white, it just wouldn't sell.
Looking at the results others have posted on the Futuremark site I'd say that's pretty good. It's higher than Toms Hardware posted when they reviewed the card and a lot higher than many others have posted in other tech forums.
The ATI drivers are the first revision to support the X1900 and...
Just put a machine together for a new level Desgner who starts Monday.
DFI Lanparty UD RDX 200
Athlon X2 4800 - couldn't stretch to a FX60 due to the two video cards. :dapprove:
2gb Corsair XMS
2 x Radeon X1900XT 512
700w Aopen PSU, couldn't get an Enermax Noisetaker, and the Akasa 650w one I...
I had the same on my 182, it had totally new exhaust at 9k miles and was ready for another when I traded it in at 18500.
The Trophy one was sounding a bit rough, but that was just a bad seal apparently.
They've finally ditched the bus sized steering wheel in it. It's even got a little red line to show it's pointing straight.
No heated seats, but the standard ones are similar in finish to the 182, but have much more support at the side.
The wheel arches look a lot wider than the rest of the...
