i just bought a brand new Toshiba (which was crap so i swapped it for a...) LG LCD tv before xmas and the toshiba had 2 scart plugs the LG has one so theyre not dead yet...
you do realize that if your aux belt went theres a good chance it could take your timing lebt with it too? sure i read on here somewhere that this happened to a guy. so aux belt is just as important tbh.
well that is what was diagnosed by a local mechanic who was into his rallying, so i trust his judgment. like i said i didnt get to find out the deffinite issue because the bottom end was boogered too. i still have the engine and ive not had chance to strip it to find out.
in fact thinking...
My mate with a K4M had this issue, turned out to be the rocker cover gasket leaking oil into the plug wells.
his problems included lumpy idling and struggling to start, plus it was noticably low on power.
he would have changed the gasket but the engine had bigger problems and it was easier...
try biggred (search it in google) you can get full seal kits for any caliper. cost about £35 for front and £23 for rear calipers.
done mine on my megane, easy
insurance companys have made 0 proffit this year, with the exeption of admiral group. thats why prices are going so high. the companies making a loss hack their prices up joe bloggs pays for it, admiral group hike their prices and make it 1% cheaper than the cheapest alternative to gain...
thats a good shout! would have to be quite a shunt to reach my fuel lines in my megane tho!
my mate recons its to aid with heat transfer and take it away from the engine...
does that fuel rail guard actually serve a purpose apart from guard the fuel rail (why does it need guarding anyway?)
and if you took it off wouldent it still be fine?
think its for idle control mate. on my k4m the air comes in, up to the trottle body and ICV, through the ICV, then a pipe into the top of the rocker cover, then out of the rocker cover through your hole into the inlet pipes.
K4M seems to have the same sort of setup as the F4R, so i should...
you from scotland? glasgow iirc?
you may be lucky with the part number then. because i know someone last year had a problem with the plugs. one had a grey one one had a black one one was really common and could be picked up for £10 at a scrappy the other was rare and £170 from reno. as far as...
i see you have a megane VVT. theyre the later phase 2 cars which im sure have a diffrent wiper motor to the majority of the phase 2 coupes!
someone i know had theirs go on them last year and it took them forever to find a replacement. and it cost a lot when they did find one. think they had it...
by popping the glass out it makes it easier to get at the clips that hold it in and you dont have to risk scratching yoiur mirrors with your screwdriver.
the glass pops in and out anyway so its not exactly taxing! id rather do that that damage my mirror
if you dont mind waiting (a long time) then i suposed APD wouldnt be a bad choice.
bear in mind it took him 9 months to flow my cylinder head and cut some valve seats and a skim. I was told it would take about 4 weeks
if hes sandblasting the hubs then i assume theyre coming off the car, in that case put the block of wood on the sensor (non cable end) and hit the block of wood with the hammer. the wood is softer than the sensor so it will damage the wood rather than the sensor yet you can still shift it by...
when your car goes for an mot they do NOT look for a cat, so even if your running a decat as long as the car passes its emissions test (which is possible even with a decat) then it will pass the mot (providing evryhting else is in order).
ill see if i can find that ruling online now
so back...
