172 RE-FURB Front calipers, Where to Buy and how much ?

Car  clio 172
I'm thinking of getting some refurb calipers for the front of my 172 as they have covered 84,000 miles and since i'm replacing everythink else and goingto be doing track days its probably going to be woth it.

Wheres best to buy some from and what sort of price are we looking for the two ?

thanks mike

Could you not just get new piston's and seal's for the ones you have now

Strip them down and powdercoat then add new parts

i manged to break the bleed nipples trying to loosen them off ! did put some loosning oil on etc and gently tried to loosen them !

i guess they havent bee touched since the factory !

any tips lol !

will have to see if i can extract the boken bit out but i think there that tight in it wont happen !

try biggred (search it in google) you can get full seal kits for any caliper. cost about £35 for front and £23 for rear calipers.

An easy out like one of these should get the snapped bleed nipple out but it would be a good idea to find out how to use them first to avoid causing more damage.

Like people have said, it isn't difficult to refurb your calipers your self. There are plenty of guides on the interwebs if you do a google search.
Or just take the calipers off and take them with your new seals to your local friendly garage and ask them to replace the bleed nipples and fit the new seals.
Simples.

i have easy outs from halfords, biggest load of s**t ! they cost £15 and i swear there made out of plastic, ive used them on two different jobs and they have broke !

will have to get a good quality set fromsum where !

Brake engineering on Wrexham industrial estate i'd suggest ;)
