Great drive out afterwards folks, sadly I now have 0.5 arch liners and a blowing exhaust, but I do have screenwash now :tongueclosed:
I've scheduled the next one for the 21st, but I can't approve it myself now so it won't appear yet.
And it's this saturday folks! See you all there :)

Also, kill individual apps in the Location Services list rather than just blanket everything, or your navigation apps won't work. You can see which app is the culprit, usually facebook.
Oh and go into the system services submenu and flick off location based iAds
Coming on leaps and bounds!
Happy to help mate, looking good and nice to see the inspiration you've taken, and good work on finishing the centre clock, next on my list so we might need to hook up again :)
Interesting that you had to notch the interior light out though to fit the SMDs, the...
Looks like you're doing a great job of tidying it up!
Whereabouts in Devon are you? We've got lots of local meets etc going on and it'd be great to see you along.
Open the passenger door. Look at the end of the dashboard. You'll see a cover. Pop it off and behind it is the fuse box.
The UCH, which is what you saw, controls various bits but hopefully that's not the problem.
Lad I know has a Monaro. He had it for 4 years sat in his garage until he could insure it, just taking it out of the garage and running it up now and again. Epic cars.
It's not hugely fast but then that's not really the point. Technically speaking sideways isn't the fastest way to go around a...
Yeah pretty much.
The wires look they might just pull out (bringing the metal pin with it), but check the long sides of the connector for tabs. The aftermarket connectors may not be the same as the ones in the car.
Some cars are wired with the permanent live and switched live the other way...
The first pic shows the two connectors, the same as what you've got in the car, right? On the lower of the two connectors are the red and yellow wires which may need to be swapped on the car end. You could swap them on the stereo side if it's easier, it doesn't matter. Have a look at the wires...
I don't see the point in people coming into people's ownership threads to say they don't like the car. Maybe in the main thread, but this is someone's pride and joy that's getting shat on.
I think LY is still the best colour really, then white. Do you have any plans for it?
Seriously don't be. You aren't annoying anyone or upsetting anyone by asking genuine questions!
The fuse with the radio symbol is for the ignition live as far as I know, the main power for the stereo runs through that whereas the permanent live is only a trickle of power to keep the clock...
That's alright, I'm not annoyed :)
Out of those two big ends full of wires, there will be one with less wires connected to it. That is the power connector, which is what will have the red and yellow wires connected to it. If it wasn't such a complete ballache to remove my stereo I'd show you...
It'll be in the fuse box on the passenger end of the dash.
Are you any good at defusing bombs? (Joking aside, look at the wires you connected the stereo into and there'll be a yellow and a red wire amongst them. You can pop them out of the connector and swap them around, as some aftermarket...
