A decent place could repair that mate, but for performance you're better off repairing the tyre.
The last time I went to have a tyre repaired they told me I oculdn't because it had been repaired a dangerous amount of times previous! Eeek!
Looks nice, what tyres are they, makes the wheels look bigger!
Lose the lights, and get some ph2's if you can stand the hassle of rewiring them!
God I love these cars :D
As above all very well regarded and will be a damn sight cheaper than Renault-monkey prices.
Mine's going to Alex on Tuesday, looking forward to getting a glimpse of the 5! :)
Put mine on the insurance, lowers the premium and she's only just passed!
I've found that she's realised how obsessive I am with the car and so is behaving herself so far, and it means I can drink on the weekends more!
Once the novelty wears off it'll be me that drives it when I want to anyway.
Don't want to sound mean, but:
"the 21 year-old lost control"
"The crash happened...in the early hours of Friday morning"
It may be a genuine unfortunate accident, but I'm guessing excessive speed and/or alcohol were involved...
Should be okay, and for £5k something it's a bit of a bargain!
Take it for a decent test drive first, make the seller aware of your concerns and get him to throw in tax / free service or something to put your mind at ease...
Also, wat do you mean the interior needs some attention to tidy up...
I thought that the policy holder didn't NECESSARILY have to be the registered keeper of the car if the policy holder was genuinely the main driver. IE Dad buys son a new car, registers it in Dad's name just to keep son on a bit of a leash but insurance is in son's name because he drives it all...
Check the 'Local Meetings' section mate, there'll be plenty of members your way and lots of chances to meet up.
There are normally Area Reps that organise these things, so find out who your's is and get them arranging!
Mine's always been that way, I've just gotten used to it! Sometimes I'll push on the throttle a bit, nothing, so I put a bit more pressure on and it clunks half way down, making me rev like a bugger!
Wonder wheels is probably your best bet mate, see how you get on with that first.
Once you get them looking clean, stick a layer of wax on the wheels as well, will make them easier to clean in future.
And, yeah, Carnuba wax is a must for a decent finish, normally applied best after another...
Artistic genius! ;)
TBH if I was working out how to change the wiring myself from scratch I'd probably notice the clip, but I have just kinda followed your guide word for word!
Cheers Fubar, and I've PM'd you Day but hopefully that won't be needed now! :)
Lol, not yet, I won't have a chance until Saturday because the missus needs the car for work and I don't get home until about half 9.
I'll investigate on Saturday and let everyone know how I get on!
Lol, cheers mate, I'll persevere with it a bit longer. It does feel like I'm going to break something, and with it being important electrics I don't really want to do that!
Will try again on the weekend...
