Hi guys! I got the typical valver "loose" stearing syndrome. I know it can be welded but I'd rather a new one but is it the rack or the column? any ideas on prices? cheers!

anyone know where to get some? mine have cracked and look sh*te. Ive seen them on K-tec but £70??? surely they must be cheaper than that somewhere?? Idealy i'd ike them chrome looking to match the angel eyes if that makes sense...

it wouldn't be poking out cos of the problem you had with the manifold would it? maybe the manifold isn't on right and pushing the exhaust further out??? just an idea....

it's probably the supersprint manifold. I would still defo get a heatshield in there. looks good tho....

shoud be quite a beast I take it it's a 1.8 with a turbo attached rather than an engine conversion to the Ren5 Gtt?

2 of my mates work there it's wicked! ;) although I wouldn't rate the one in coulsdon either! took my car there a couple of times, rather nice young lady on the service desk and to be honest I think she knows more than the mechanics! pretty useless and again, over priced....

that's a little harsh. I never knew him but I do know the amount of time and effort he has put into this car and it's pretty impressive. good luck to him I say!

haha it's all good, I know my car has a few "mods" that cause some dispute, as do most others. the only way to please everyone on here is to have mk2 with silver visions :o ;) haha

to be honest mate I don't know. I was told they were RSI skirts (bought them second hand online) but they clearly aren't! llok god tho! lol

163bhp 1.8 valver... Cams, chip, clutch, s/s manifold, decat, s/s exhaust, piper x ik, lowered 30mm front and back, apex shocks and springs, strutbrace, 16" Bk Racing alloys, angel eyes, spoiler, skirts, light brows, colour coded, leather seats.....think thats it....

or the big sumo suits or the massive boxing gloves..... you could charge non club members to have a go thus making some dolla for the club at the same time! cover hiring costs etc....

I got one, made a bit of difference to noise level but not much but mine is fappin loud anyway! lol
