Re: plusnet looking a bit sh*t The 2.2mb you're refering to is your "sync" speed (not what the exchange is capable of) Some ISP's sync your line at the highest speed it can support (depending on length, SNR, Attenuation etc) but restrict your real downloading speed to whatever package/service...

Either the firewall(s) aren't off and/or your ISP is blocking/restricting certain ports. P2P is pants anyway.

Might have something to do with the scratches you mentioned?!? You could try creating an ISO image of the CD on your HD. You could either keep it there and mount it or burn it to another CD.

Yup.. The smaller the fan the faster it spins. My CPU fan is at about 4000rpm and my chipset fan at about 7000rpm.

Looking at that screenshot the fan is still running at full speed even though you've set it to 2%. You probably need to read the manual and alter the fan from Bios controlled/Smart fan to "software controlled".
