are you sure the amp is on a switched 12v feed from the back of the headunit? if its live all the time it will run the battery down in no time at all!

Somebody will inform you better, but GTgaz's was doing this, he read up on here and we undid the four bolts on the O/S engine mount where it mounts to the body, and eased it forward a few mm's, all cured. Apparently its something hitting the subframe under load! either that or drive slower!

Yes it is going up, on the 7th, but most garages will not charge full price, ours are £35, half a full is chargeable if the vehicle leaves and is returned in 10 days, in some cases a free retest is offered! says on your VT30 (fail sheet)

you should really be able to do it in 3.5 hours no problem! I have just done one today on a 1.4 16valve, £80 for the kit and i charged £100 to do it! boook time is 3.9 hours, done in 3!

A bloke put a sunroof in a can for my dad, and brought the wrong template!! cut the hole about 4cms to big!!:S , van had a hole in the roof until he came back with the roof that fit!! think he felt a plonker!:o

this is true, but on older carb cars! not very healthy though! my scooby pops and bangs every gear change when its warm! i had a saxo vts that was the same and used to pop flames, but my mates decatted clio just did it occasionally, and it has a few other mods to, must just be the design. TDC sensor in the top of the gearbox, held in with 2 10mm bolts, get a new one! 99% sure it will be this!

hey bud, we have had a couple at work that have had similiar faults, ( i work for renault), common cause is heater plugs not working causing the EGR valve to stick, this can cause reduced power and smoking! you would ned to get it to a dealer or take the EGR valve out, its under the airbox, 3...
