Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
Which one JB if you don tmind me asking??
Foxy i been on there a few years now actually... call sign = drahcir (richard backwards!) dont post much though! just floating around the for sale section looking for a decentish one. £700 I seen one for but that...
Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread
If any of you guys see a decentish nick valver up for sale let me know! All the ones I find are either waaayyy overpriced or complete sacks of s**t!
Yeah but you can get rid of the membrane s**t and fit a NC momentary push button in its place.
The push button will be doing the same as the switch (same as in a remote control) which is making a momentary contact. What type of switch is irrelevant really if you follow me?
They are definitely going to be a push button switch. When you push it it makes the contact between the 2 wires I reckon. If you had/have a circuit tester that beeps, connect to between those 2 wires and it should not beep until you press the button?
I cant see the circuit doing much.. unless its there for illumination purposes? I cant make it out from any of the photo's. I dont have CC so cant comment! Too much
The must be normal push button NC switches (like what I linked) thats the only way the circuit would work. The ones that are on...
Yep same here... that ultra plush towel, although not as big as others, is f**king soft. And doesn't scratch one bit.. I used a sonus one and it felt like I was scratching the f**k out of the car:( I Sit in at night watching tele whilst sucking my thumb and rubbing it on my face :)
My GF...
Yeah its a lot better with just that little bit done... I wasnt sure if it would work hence why I did a small area to test it with.
Anyone got any P2000 they can send me?!! Me love you long time if so!
colour match is still off though :(
That drying toel you got in there I would ditch and use this one from i4detailing..

Much better imo and good value for money
:) Did a little bit with some P1500 yesterday... cant get P2000 for s**t round here :(
Couple of pics if you can make it out.....
This bit I hardly touched its just where I ran over ..
You can see what bit I did here by the reflection of the house...

Or

Im guessing the buttons will be normal "non contact-less push buttons"??
Thats not there actual name. From memory when I had my luguna you just pushed it in... there was no clicking... I could probably source some decent ones for you if you want??
^^ Wheres that?
Im going to head down to the Col du Turini sometime this year... As well as the Col Du Lautaret. Such lush driving roads/views down in frog land :)
kind of related question. My rear drivers caliper was sticking and i free'd it up with the wd40 method. But i noticed the black seal around the piston had split, causing it to lock in the first place. Can u buy or get the piston seal?
I did make the noob error of putting one of the bearing rings in first and started to hammer the bugger in... then when I couldn't get the top ring in I suddenly thought..ay yeah that bottom one shouldn't be in :o
I do have access to a bearing press at work now though so its a lot easier
