Where's the creaking coming from? If it's from the steering column it's a switch which they will replace, as I had that on my 172. If it's elsewhere then it's anybodies guess. lol It's not your eyes they'll want to see fluttering.;) Don't act too dumb though, or they'll charge you more. lol

Nice one, welcome to ClioSport. I purchased my first 172 from Motorpoint. They really start to loosen up around 10k, then again noticeably around 20k. I'd not be too strict on the run in, just make sure it's fully warmed up and use the full rev range avoiding labouring it or thrashing it...

My bodge worked a treat. Driven all the way to work this morning with some fine trance on and not a single rattle from the panel, or my bodged b2.

I've had the one in the middle of the dash one all 3 of mine. It comes and goes depending on the weather!!! I can live with the rest, but a constant vibration is something I can't cope with.

That would have meant going out and I couldn't be bothered. lol

The Focus seems an absolute bargain to me.

I've had the b2 for a couple of years now, and it's been in all of my cars over that time. When I got it there was a rattle from the cradle, which I fixed by taking it apart and putting a small piece of blue tack on each magnet as it turned out they were rattling in the cradle. That fixed that...

Similar to the Focus ST the Clio will come with different options to suit the trim and price you want to pay.

I won't bother chopping the end off, I'll just use it as it is. I'll just get the double one. That's enough to cover what I've got in the car. I only ever need a second one if my phone is going flat. Ordered.:D

Excellent, similar to how Daz did it then. I'll have to go get me a cable to allow me to do that. I could use my fag lighter to charge my phone and blue tooth headset, but never like unplugging the b2.

Is there no fuse fubar? The b2 has a fuse in the fag lighter plug.

Genius, I'm going to do that for my b2. I had to solder the dam cig lighter plug today as one of the wires had come off again.

Big Yin, there is a 182 Cup in it's own right, and a 182 with Cup packs which you refer to. But none of the options are dealer fit, they are fitted when the car is manufactured. The only grey area they should have is with 182s with Cup packs, not an actual 182 Cup as that's a full model, as...
