None, Renault didn't do anything to the seats, they just bought them and fitted them to the existing subframes, modified to be 10mm lower.
Sounds like you've come to a compromise with the seats mate. ;)
Same thing with mine, but believe it or not it's no harder with the extra stuff, provided you tuck it into the gap underneath the headunit.
It took me ages to get mine all the way back too.
And still no control or display adaptor for 2005 Clios.
Funny you should just post about that, I was just looking to see if they have finally made one compatible with 05 Clios.
I had one, and it is a pig to get it behind the dash in a Phase 2, but it's possible with a lot of messing. If you reach back you can actually tuck a lot of the wire...
You can, they will build it to the exact spec you want. I've had 3 servers from there now, and the support is spot on too. Give them a call and they'll have a quote with you in 10 minutes.
Well the car is a Renault Clio, then you get the models such as the Dynamique etc, so calling it the Renault Clio RenaultSport 172/182 isn't so odd really.
If you really want to get in his good books saving some cash you can get some cracking deals here: http://www1.serversource.co.uk/
We used them in the past when we were a struggling independent with no money. lol
Just had a quick look, and I've not got any pics. They're just the same in a V as they are in a 182, only the centre console is different, other than that it's the same.
Do you really think I'm serious? lol I couldn't give a flying f**k what people call there cars. But personally I tend to like to call mine what it actually is.:D
ClioSport the club isn't named after any car, it's just a club name and has no bearing on a model or model line up.
There are models classed as Clio Sport models though.
I had a moment of madness recently and considered an Evo, so I checked out MLR. It's no better than on here, they argue just as much, and **** off the lower models. lol
Ktec systems get mixed reviews, but they do honour warrenty on them if they tarnish or break. They do tend to be very loud too
I had a Magnex on my 172 and never had any complaints.
I had new runners on the 172 to stop the seat doing that, I gave up on the 182 and just live with it on the Trophy. The driver seat is so tight in the runners it's hard to move it, but the passenger one rattles a little.
I've solved the seat belt problem, you can hook it around the wings on...
