yeah ive done that a few times, when changing my interior. There just a bit fiddly and annoying because I've had to extend my wiring to reach the window switches in the 172 door cards, hopefully it will go back the same. Will try a few places this week. What did you mean by you need to buy 2 keys?

right just checked the lock, mine works fine. Would you be able to send them to me before I send you the lock as I would need to get both colour coded then swap and Id have the lock spare. Wont be just yet because I've got to try find a body shop and get some quotes, so hang on to those handles...

i thought the head lights were good on the new clios, you should try a mk1 mate, nightmare down back lanes

i think mk 2 clio lights are excellent, especially the sporty ones(dual potics). After driving my mums mk1 diesel and they were proper pants!!!. got hose brighter xenon bulbs in mine and everything is much whiter and brighter!!

Don't know much about the prices but that seems very good to me! Serious though, I've never seen rust even on a mk1. Mines got plastic front wings (not sure about yours) so got no probs there, everything seems to be very good with renaults, cant actually think of a recent renault that I've seen...

John, the lock ive got in atm is the one that came with the boot so my key doesnt work with it, the one thats ment to work with it isnt as clean, so what I might do is make sure that works, get it colour coded then swap it for the other one and will have that free. How about a swap for the handles?

Well this is my old one done, think its slighly different colour being iceberg silver but I'm gonna put it in tomorrow in the light and see how it looks. Its got a really smooth finish.

I'm not replacing anything just interested in the colour of it, was thinking of spraying a few other bits to match.

I might have the handles off you, and guess what, I've got a boot lock too, just remembered. Previous owner bought a whole boot from a breakers cheaper than getting the rear window replace so had left it in with the spare wheel. Found it when I changed my interior.

John I want to get my spoiler, handles and lock done now. Did they have to take the do handles of do you know? I really dont want my door cards coming off again, so much work getting them to fit snug last time. Also how much did it come to in the end?? Mitch
