fiddle with the wires under the seats also, if they come lose or break, will show that symbol.

pretty sure they do, cos didnt some of the 172s come with a changer, plus the sources on the radio are tuner cd and L whatever that is. Im not certain tho, ill check the manual later.

yeah you can, you spin your wheel to the correct number, then press the button underneath to confirm each one, then at the end press it again so it goes back to the start, then hold that button until the radio comes on. but there are also certain buttons on the HU you can press to do the same.

dont some other cars have a similar sort of thing, they still have the handle, but instead of pushing a button right in to mechanically open, its sensored and opend by solinoids.

on mine they 0000s come up straight away after code. have you tried dissconnecting the battery, as this is the only time it will ask you for the code.

local auto breakers, wings should be quite easy to get hold of as there plastic and wont be damaged as easy. get a lot of head on damaged cars ending up in breakers yards so the grill might be a bit harder to get hold of.

Need help with wiring on the new seats ive put in. does anyone know what each plug is for? on my original seats there was one plug in the passenger (guessing some sort of pressure sensor) on the drivers side, one for the same sorta thing (blue plug i think) one i guess for the seat belt...
