    Clio 3 boot rusting

Was always going to happen tbf. People got a bit ott about the build quality when the mk3 emerged. Stopping a dash rattling isn't the best indicator of overall build quality, in typical Renault fashion bits start to go wrong after a couple of years. And the dealers are woeful at sorting issues!

    Rollin' on bricks...

I remember when this happened to Mr Ecclestone: He said the thieves were captured on film but he was not planning to report the matter to the police. I would not want to of been those thieves lol.

Some w*****s did this to the wifes car a few yrs ago. Basic alloys off a Rover 25, only took 2? Nobbers.

Evo hits M3... MLR trackday at Spa

Average Joe picks one up, and the car makes him look like a hero. Very little skill required, just bury you foot and let the computers sort it. So when they do get out of shape, they don't know what to do. Not saying that occured in this case, but seems to be the way the majority of rally-rep...

Best Wheel Aligment Settings for Fast Road

I'd speak to someone that's set a few up (Fred/Tony Hunter come to mind) for track use.

    200 Cup

I'm gonna have a look. I'd keep the 172 most likely, share the miles.

    Brake Change

I've run a few compounds, yellowstuff were the worst by a fair distance. I'd go for the mintex, they will fade with track use though.

    200 Cup

I'd expect so, it's normally 10-12k max, expensive charges if you go over.

Took my Clio and Ferrari out to the Nurburgring this weekend

F50's are immense. All the better as heathens don't appreciate them. Only car to rival the Macca in my heart.

    Should I risk it?

Look at other options. For some reason 1*2's are stupid to insure. 306gti? Just as quick, better to drive. BMW E36 328sport?

    suspension set up in Telford/shropshire

Golf? Golf? And you have a dig at football lol.
  29. ForceIndia

Looking for a good road-car suspension setup.

Eibachs, but they don't go 30mm low iirc. I've had lots of setups on 172's (eibach pro and sport, ast, h&r, kw v2's). For road and occasional track use, standard dampers with either eibach options and a whiteline arb would be great. If monies no object, kw v2's are perfect. More than h&r's.
