Well Ive been putting injector cleaner in as Ive been told this is the only way to fix it. It seems to be a bit better, but still noticeable.

Whenever I start it up it the morning (or when left to go properly cold) and try to pull off it seems to struggle and then go really slowly (actually like its braking) like its getting starved of fuel. This happens for a couple of minutes, and then it goes, presumably cos its a tiny bit warm...
I found this out when looking for my valver. A couple of months ago a 96N is A1 condition was over £4500. Then when I checked a couple of weeks ago before buying mine it had dropped to about £3100 just for a good one. I think Parkers have just got it wrong! I got mine (95M w/48K) for only £3250...

What price am I looking at for a middle section?
Right! Ive decided on a custom straight through middle section. Wheres the best place to get it from? Powerflow in Crewe or Longlife in Sheffield are closest to me. Has anyone had one fitted by either of these. I know one guy had an exhaust fitted by Powerflow in Crewe and the next week there...
Has anyone got a straight through middle section. I was thinking about a bigger bore too (does anyone know the standard size?) but wouldnt it be very low as it would have to go below the torsion bar. I dont want it getting hit on every speed bump!
Also, does anyone have a different manifold...
Im guessing you wouldnt bother with the de-cat because the straight through pipe would replace the cat. I was thinking about a longlife middle section, but arent sure about it being staight through! Wouldnt this make the middle section sit a lot lower than normal. I cant really avoid speed bumps...
I was thinking about a custom middle section with a universal 5" backbox! But have now gone off the idea.

Just bought a haynes manual and then compared their picture of the engine bay and mine.....and guess what! No ABS. Guess that explains yesterdays little experience then!

Good point, I dont know for certain if it does have ABS, I just thought it was standard. The ABS symbol on the dash doesnt light up when the ignition is on so does this mean I dont have it. Im not very mechanically minded but have just bought a haynes manual. Will have a read, then have a look...
