Likewise mate! I took my plenum off the other week and only had one bolt holding my plenum on! f**k knows what happened to that! Its snapped off right at the block too so god knows how il get the stub out.

The Air inlet for the Mk2 172 has a breather pipe on yes. I have put a shorter bend on and that hasn't got the breather hole on it, just wanted to know if it will do any damage not having that connected?? The pipe is connected just tucked out of the way.

^^^ I would say not likely, if you did it how Dink said above. But your way, as in the gauge wire used... couldnt say. Although worst case is you would burn through the wire.
