Automated car washes gave been around for years also. They must be safe for your car too right?
Strange that I've never seen a professional detailer using such a safe and trusted product. They must be misguided...
I would cut the Red Mist and put the money towards a more expensive wax.
However trends are shifting towards sealants instead of wax, largely down to superior water behaviour in winter.
-Apply heat to the spacer
-Hammer a wedge into the gap.. if you can get hold of one.
-If you have the resources, bolt a steel bar to the spacer.
Alternatively bolt the wheel back onto the spacer and wobble the hell out of it.
Or bolt the wheel to spacer, and spacer to hub bolts in loosely...
After finally admitting to myself I wasn't really ready to commit to a full on expensive DSLR I went for a Sony NEX-5N and 18-55mm lens kit.
