engine at operating temp oil pressure should be:-
1 bar @idle
3 bar @3000rpm
oil pressure will start to get a lot higher as the revs go above 3000rpm but renault only give you the values for idle and 3000rpm.
i didnt mention owt about servicing.you can have you car serviced at any vat registered garage as long as they use geniune parts but that wasnt my point.for example they wont do warranty work to your alarm because it hasnt been fitted to uk spec
a geniune new 172 will cost you around £14,000.anything around the £11,000 mark is definatly an import.there can be some warranty problems as dealers dont like imports.on all new renaults you now get full manfactures warranty but only dealer warranty on imports.the alarms they come with are...
immobiliser problems are normally the key heads.swap the red and white ultrasonic connectors over to reduce there sensitivity.what alarm is it?(goldsheild,silversheild or compact)

recheck the oxygen sensor connectors there might be a bad connection since they were plugged on and off.if the light come on straight away then its most likely a connection fault.the ecu wont have had enough time to self test the cat yet.
most of the commen problems will either never happen or will do whilst in warranty so dont worry.renault can still offer contributions even when the vehicle is out of warranty.
if its a driveshaft i would have thought the noise would get louder on full locks.check your gaitors to see if they have leaked any grease.have you tightened up the 30m driveshaft nut up fully,they should be FT! does the noise change with engine load and direction of steering?
