Some interesting comments on there. Not all complaints either, had to laugh at the guy whos "experimental janspeed exhaust" had given him 10bhp instantly!
Dificult to tell from the pic but the engine bay was literally missing and the bonnet had been blown off. You can see its just about attached on one side.
Looked at what was the engine and the Fireman said it looked like a bomb had gone off not just a small fuel leak!
Simple, If he didint agree to the parts being changed tell them to take it off.
A friend of mine and ST Hornes took his Celica 190 in for a service to be told he needed to new tyres to which he said ok. Went to collect it and they had charged him £240 PER tyre!! He made them take them back...

If we have fuel tanks with a capacity of 50 litres why cant I get more than 42ish in at the most?
I have driven some 30 miles with the warning light on and still it would only take 42 litres of petrol.
Are the quoted figures for the fuel tank made up or is there still a good 8 litres left...
On SOME Clios there is a small "button" where the accelreator meets the bulkhead and a "click" can be felt under foot.
It only applies to FBW cars and was not present on all cars. My last 172 didnt have this but had a small circular disc of plastic instead.
There is no right or wrong.
No-one seems to know what it is there for anyway. Some suggested its to do with traction control and some suggested its to do with cruise control.
I dont think Renault know what its there for!
It was on that C4 programme where they compared the CTR, 172 (mk2) and the Corolla. Was on this time last year.

Thats for dimming the lights on the dash not the headlights. The xenons are meant to be at slightly different levels anyway!
