For me i found the fuel cost was significantly different with between the LCR and 182
£50 LCR would get 300 or less
£40 182 £340+
I not sure about value retention either:
The LCR ona 04 forecorts for 13k (18.5k new)
The 182 on an 04 will forecout for 9.5k (14.5k new)
Not the greatest...
I would just make sure you get it, I purchased mine used from dealer and didnt have one and I just made sure they put once on prior to I took delivery.
Around £135 from renault. It should be on the car and the dealership will have had one from renault at some point when the car was delivered...
Ive had an LCR it is far nicer car than the Type R. If it was a straight choice then it would be LCR. If you need to consider running cost then the other two will be significantly more expensive to run, hence why I sold the LCR,dont be fooled by the figures, they are very heavy on petrol as is...
They look mint. Just fitted my drivers today (did the passenger side first). I just jacked mine up using the standard jack and the car half on a kerb. Was not too bad tbh.
Wouldnt worry about people critising, as long as you happy then F**k everyone else. Thats what I think. Few people, not...
^^ totally agree, but its always a buyers market when it come to motors and RS models are no difference. Main dealer service history is always seem as a massive+
The chance of getting a 1.2 16v with A/C will be limited. I reckon you might get a 52plate out the trader for around the 4k mark. If you want aircon you will have consider a 1.4 16v dynamique as they come as standard and only fetch a couple hundred quid more than the same 1.2 16v.
As above a...
Its actually quite easy, had to do this myself.
1. unclip the top of the grill, plastic screws in place. I just popped these out. no need to unclip grill from bumper as this will come away with the bumper.
2. Look under the bumper and unattach undertray and inner archers(these are just clip...
Cannot imagine that corrosion on discs will be covered as there are so many possible factors and generally classed as wear & tear parts. Factor could be if you've not had the car from new has it sat on a forecourt for a while??
wasnt mine then. Mine is/was YNZ (Private reg now)
Your cousins wasnt the one that had a bit of a bump was it..... Someone one on forum mentioned it and was worried it was mine at first, but after loads of checkin was all original paint on mine until someone rear ended me couple weeks ago!.
Really is dependent on driving style, Me and my mate both had 1.2 16v he got threw pads in 11k and mine didnt need replacing even on the 18k service.
I would have alook yourself if you know a bit and see what there like. Suppose it depends how much you trust the dealer, but mine are on 14k...
