My 182 is about to hit 46k, in the service book it's just stamped with the mileage and date, no sign of what has actually been done? I guess this is something I should be checking up on also then!?

Sounds good buddy, take it there's no similar fix for the 182? Or if there was I guess it was ages ago...

Okay, sorry for not searching Is this actually a problem for the car though? As long as it's not harming the car I don't really see it as something that needs to get fixed... unless it's done for free? :)

I've had two cars with auto wipers now and they've both been useless! Either not on at all, or wipe forever! There's nothing auto about it really :dead: love the auto lights though, made me think :D when I first went through a tunnel.

I have the same window switch thing on my 182. Annoying ain't it! :S mine are auto with the engine on, but the drivers side isn't auto when the engine is off!

It does sound like the rattle is nearer towards the back of the car though!? Can you explain the 172 problem a bit? Cheers :approve:

Now, firstly I need to ask you a question. I've noticed more and more that my car is really raspy when accelerating hard between about 2k-3k, now I love it! Think it sounds wicked, was actually boasting about it to my bro :clown: But... as time goes on, I think it might not actually meant to...

Well sorta. What I mean is sometimes when I press the button on the key sometimes you just hear the click and the doors are locked, but probably about 30% of the time it will give three high pitch beeps as it locks, any reason why? I told a mate that used to own a 182 Cup and he said he had...

Re: privelege car insurance are s**te. Had the same thing! Online they said a 'few' days (for it to come in the post) then it didn't come so phoned them and they said it's 3 to 5 days... it took 5 days :dapprove:

Tescos!? Are you joking? When I was 19 they wanted the insurance to go up the same price the mod cost... so for example I bought some 15s for my Corsa for £400, they wanted £400 more on insurance too :eek: Adrian Flux are by far the best for mods... all covered from free in my experience...

If I had £8k I'd go for a CTR, but with £4k, it's definitely gotta be a 172. I don't think I've ever seen a CTR for £4k!? Sure it would be a pretty bad example at that price! The Saxo doesnt really compare imo, the interior is horrid for starters. Why did you dismiss the 206? I came from a...
