How do I check, and how do I fix low voltages?
I will check the earth, when I tried putting the bolt back on for some reason it wouldn't find the thread so I think I've fucked it tbh... where's is yours earthed?
God damn...
Keeps cutting out. Basically the sub works for five seconds, then cuts out for five seconds, and just keeps doing this loop. Although it stays on for longer sometimes like twenty seconds or so. Any ideas?
I'll try turning the gain on the amp down tomorrow, although this is the...
I'm just worried about having holes drilled into my boot floor?
I've used the bolt with a little hook thing on the nearside off the boot for earthing my amp, do most people use this? I'll take a pic later in case you don't know what I'm talking about!
Done it! It's easy when you know how lol... I was poking through to the engine and my bro was looking out for it and grabbed it :star:
I was looking totally in the wrong place. I'm now boomtastic, just need to borrow some sticky stuff from work to stick the amp and sub down. How do other...
Great write up :D read the whole thing.
I like both cars although have never been in a Williams unfortunately, I think it's just the interior that kills it for me, those seats :quiet:
Williams + leather Recaros = FTW!
I agree also!
First two years of driving I was ripped paying around £1,500 (and that was on a group one insurance car!) but would never consider paying anywhere near that now... I'm 24 now btw.
Okay cheers guys, I think I'll top it up with water then for now, and see if it's looses it quickly or not, if so then I'll flush it and see if there's a problem!
With the PAS fluid, is that something I can pick up from Tesco's or do I need to go to a garage? Cheers ;)
As mentioned in another thread, my coolant tank is running on literally the bare minimum! Is it just water that goes in there or is it mixed with anything?
Also, it appears there's no fluids in my power steering bottle what-so-ever  what do I need to put in there?
Thanks [/n00b]
lol but try as I might, I couldn't see the screwdriver! :clown: I think I have a portal in my engine bay.
Hang on... unless the gap between the footwell and the bay is greater than 6"!? Though I seriously doubt it :S
Okay the only thing I'm thinking is that I stuck a 6" screwdriver through, and couldn't see it... if i stick the wire through I don't see how I'm going to see that? Unless I let it drop to the floor I guess.
One more attempt I reckon then out comes the cheque book lol, just cba! Corsa = 5 mins...
So that grommit bit is the right bit i've got isn't it? I tried pulling it so hard! Pilers and everything lol... I ended up ripping half of it off, dont think I'll be able to get the rest of it out as there's nothing to grab on to now :dead:
Thing is, behind the material in the engine bay I...
Okay... update: done this weeks attempt lol! Got a lot further, but you guessed it, still haven't done it... here's where I got too...
This is how it was left in the bay, as you can see I finally got the other part off! Does this look right to you? Then pull back the lining?
Now with...
The 36k service on my car wasn't done by a Renault garage... do you think they'll still have a record of what was done?
I'd hate to be paying £500+ if I don't need to :dead:
Gonna have to bite the bullet :(
So from an average garage (non-renault) how much roughly would I be looking at for a belt change and 48k service together?
Damn I wish buying the car hadn't put me into debt lol :clown: gonna have to get saving and get the swap and service in 2k or so I guess... I will phone the garage that done it before to double check though.
Would you say that most people, in general, get the belts changed at their 36k service!?
