thats unlucky mate, you should get a 2nd opinion on the damage because i got forced off the road once, smacked a kerb at about 30mph and only knocked the tracking out and mega kerbed my wheel- badinvincible

Whirring from engine bay
Ive just bought a 00 172, has since developed a whirring noise from the drivers side of the engine bay, has done 18000k and was serviced at 17500 when i bought it, timing belt? fan belt? any ideas? just out of warranty too!- badinvincible
