Ive had this before, the hazard switch comes out of its mounts on the black panel thats fitted in the dash. Simply prize it off and re-clip the hazard switch into the mounts and itll be fine. Mine had the reverse effect recently when I could not put my hazards on! Si.

Loony has a point... get the comfy extras, a car from a member of a site you use and save yourself £1,250 which will (hopefully) pay your insurance and tax - worry free motoring. I certainly wouldnt pay £10k for a 52 plate Cup.
