f**k no, when I went to see him I was bricking it as he seemed to find something wrong wherever he looked :(
Nah, kidding, the guys a legend (Top Bloke, he'd undoubtedly be called in Footy Chat) - and if I ever got advice from him, I'd think bloody hard before choosing to ignore it!
Maybe look at a glaze? Can use it with your DJ wax? PB Black Hole is a glaze for dark coloured cars, and looks lovely. Also get some trim restorer! Chemical Guys New Look Trim Restorer is a good shout, I also like PB Natural Look, although I tend to just use that for interior bits these days.
Bilberry's a good shout, it's what I use. Can be diluted or used neat if really needed, so a bottle lasts a good while. I also use Autosmart Tardis (diluted) on really bad brake dust marks, but tbh the Bilberry does a good job.
The glaze won't rip the polish off the bodywork, I don't think. Although fundamentally, unless you're really going to town with the SRP, then you're wasting your time really, the glaze will act as a filler too.
I might be wrong though, so maybe wait and see what some of the others say!
Yup, I have a BG Clio, and as soon as I turn the key in the ignition, dirt seems to have found its way on to my paintwork ;) Black is definitely a labour of love!
C5 is supposed to be good (from the little I've read about it) but for near on £30, it is expensive. I'd rather whack my money on...
Yeah, it can become a very costly habit. It won't be too long until you're buying Swissvax wheel brushes because they look pretty, just like Gally ;)
And f**k cleaning a RRS regularly, would take hours upon hours to fully detail it!
Do you have shampoo? Or is that green bottle next to your AG stuff shampoo? It looks like Dodo Juice glass cleaner to me!
You've got the very basics there, you don't really have a stand-alone corrective polish, the SRP will only "fill" the swirls and scratches on your paintwork. For working by...
G101 reeks! Never liked its smell. It can be diluted really well, I do like 1 part G101 to 10 parts snow foam, that's a pretty rough estimate though, tbh.
Just ordered Zaino Z8, and some Lake Country DA pads from i4detailing.
Heard a lot of you raving about the Z8, so I'm hoping it's as good as you lot say!
My library is backed up on to an External HD. I've got about 190GB of music too, and I have a second library set up on my laptop too, so I can play them directly off of the HD there.
I park on an end, tbh (not gay).
I have been known to park over 2 spaces before too. I know it's cuntish, and I've received plenty scowls about it too, but I paid for my car with my own hard-earned, so don't see why I should have to suffer some t**t in his financed / company car nailing the...
Definitely sounds like the rear exhaust mounts to me, I had the same problem, I bought the NWP mounts, they've been on for about a year now and don't seem too bad. Time will tell though!
If there has indeed been a mistake made by Fred, everyone's human. As he stated, this particular company has screwed up seven times, and that's only the times that Fred himself has rectified.
For what it's worth, I've been to two different Renault "specialists," BTM and JMS. And I'd recommend...
