Thanks for the help gents-
Steve
well it was plugged in for a good 5 mins but on & off a few times-
I take it it would have to be the full amount of time?
did you have just the 2 connector blocks like my pic-?
Is the radio thing on the right the only other thing required?
thanks
Steve
Right I set about refitting the standard stereo today-

The rear parcel shelf has 2 6x9's-
Did the standard car come with any speakers on the back shelf or was the car just front door cars X2 & rear door cards..??

Sanspeed ( I pressume bexleyheath) do do a lot of work on performance cars & ive never heard a bad work against them, however on this occasion I would take advice from Mark fish on this one to be sure-

Theres certainly some irony in this thread with what Jamie said, I hasnt to add I didnt know that he was buying it otherwise I wouldnt have even looked-Its always down to the decision of the seller to inform third parties of whats going on-
In this situation he should of been clear either way...
I agree with all this apart from a couple of circumstances-
The OP is ok because the car is factory standard & the glasses guide is fairly is easy to follow once its mileage adjusted-
Occasionally the guide is difficult to use on the Private ID paint cars for example,( like say a moonlight...
+1 ^^
Once you have driven a 182 then drive a trophy you will never want to get back in the 182- its as simple as that-
I just sold a trophy as well-:o
Steve
Looks nice & shiney-
Also looks like its been lowered at some point-
All it needs is some decent alloys... sell those gash ones on it & get some nice standard ones -
Steve
I thought that, however who would buy a cup to then put heavier seats in it...+ the respray story-
I have other pics on request- I left it very well alone though...

Hi Lee I am going to take a Wild stab in the dark here-
There was a racing blue for sale on Pistonheads a while back it seemed cheap so I asked a few questions about it-
It was in the NW up past Carlisle-
Basically when I enquired the owner said the car had been scrached along the side by a...
Not sure why people are commenting on the large extra cost of a trophy-
A Standard 182 on an 05 with 36k is retailing around 6.5k, If you pick a like for like trophy your paying 1k more-
Thats 1k more for better wheels, better suspension by a country mile & recaro front seats which from what I...
Ive had a few 182's & one thing I have noticed apart from the usual problems highlighted already is how slow the steering rack can be going from full lock to full lock-
Im talking do something like a 3 point turn- but if you take a tight left & a tight right fast the steering rack struggled to...
Looking at the photos & how high the front sits I would be a little dubious in terms of this car having the cup suspension....
The alloys dont right look the right colour although I could be wrong-

No probs - your only up the road in Croydon- its only 30 mins going through West Wickham & chislehurst-
Get a feel for the looks etc--
Ive had a LY 182 & LY v6-
Whats also funny is when you clean it how the little greenflies start landing on the bonnet & roof-
Its like an advert for...
