do not use an xda for sat nav, they constantly crash, and as a result of this you will have to keep reinstalling tomtom, like i did.

Yeh, I think it would look cool, plan view of the car, and loads info that can be selected.
So far I have found the leads and some software, just looking for a good GUI for an in car setup. I would want to replace the centre warning lights panel on the speedo with a small display as well.
I want to hook up my laptop, and eventually after i know what I am doing hook up a screen in the car to display information.
Can the oil pressure, temperature be read from this?What else can be read?
Also, what sort of software is best for diagnostics and what software would look cool in car...

It's true that the speakers will have the +/- somewhere on them, but it wont matter which way round you supply the amp unless you have some serious bass coming out your main speakers, as the sub will be 180 degrees out of phase and will cancel out the bass.

ok, thanks, somebody with a ph1 wants to put one of my splitters on the car, might as well buy a broken one by the sound of it, and glue it back together.
you crash and the sub will break free and travel at what ever speed the car is, until it hits something. A sub will do you alot of damage, if not secure.
Mine is now bolted to a piece of mdf, wedged in boot as a false floor, not ideal, but better than nothing.
I would also anchor to the bolts...
