Right, I've heard that you can rag the engine after the temperature hits 80 degrees and it won't damage it. Is this true, lots of ppl let the engine warm up before going above 3000rpm. Would it be feasible to mount a temp sensor to correct part on engine to monitor when its "safe" to boot it...

no smoke from exhaust, been told its probably not piston rings. There is no oil on floor where i parked. will take the cover off the engine tomorrow. is it just the plastic one or the metal bit as well? better go back to renault on friday.......wont be happy till I get an answer.:(

Induction kit will have limited effect without a remap, as the engine will be running lean in places. Its all i have on my car at the moment , and its quicker than the 172 cup I met the other day.

how the hell do brakes make a car faster?

not used the chequer plate, might do though. I was cutting some MDF for the boot floor, got a really tight fit.

use your existing carpets, i did this for the boot and the fit was spot on. Or get a bit af spare carpet and cut it to shape in the foot well and use as template.
