Sony wont give parts out. I have tried to get a part for my laptop, i need the lid catch and as its still under warranty it gets done for free, but i dont want to wait 2 weeks for a repair. So phoned them and they said no we dont send parts out. Bugger!!!!!!!!

I've seen high mileage ones at this age go for 3500 and less.
You could probably knock it down closer to 4000, but the price doesnt seem all that bad tbh.
yes, its sort of random, but horrible tinny sound is there always.
Centre section was knackered and have since had that fixed, but the vibrations are still there. Plus this crunching sound was quite loud coming from around the centre of the car, behind the centre console.
I dont think my engine has sounded too good for a while now, sounds very rattly.
Today i drove it and accelerated was in third at the time, and heard a loud crunching sound, wasnt changing gears at the time either.
I am booked in at renault on wednesday, any ideas what i can tell them to look at?
1st gear, good idea, i was trying it in second and couldnt get the back to break free.But did manage a dodgy 180degree spin on a roundabout at uni:D

also, what sort of speeds are you doing when you slide?
from my research i guess it wont be a good idea to mix different oils due to the different additives, as one oil has exactly the right additives to make it work properly, adding different ones will upset the balance.
but 5w40 is recommended by loads of ppl on here and thats what i have gone...
