As a project run by a lot of the folks from Rigs of Rods, and using an updated version of the Node & Beam construction system from RoR, Beam NG is an advanced simulation which allows for complete or near complete deformation of car models. Result? Awesome crashes.

Immensely talented fella. In terms of acceleration though that's not exactly unique, with short ratio boxes you will get faster acceleration - Liam Doran's DS3 Rallycross car will beat a F1 car to 60. (it does also have 600bhp, but it's restricted to that)

Got NFSU2 installed, love playing it now and then. Also just bought Cold Fear for PC.
