I did something similar in London outside George16vs house, but only took a bit of rubber off the edge, and you couldnt see the thread so changed them after a few hundred miles - the replacements came from y0z incidentally. I would definately get them changed - like right now.

LOL @ seatbelt. My rear belts did this, so since I dont often carry passengers, got some SPARCO bad boy shoulder pads and put them on the belt, covering the seat belt clip. End result, no more knocking. :) I have 4k rattle - and a shot exhast so have a 3-7k ratlle ;)

My Cup has no problem 20mph in 2nd... in fact, 20mph n 2nd is like second heaven for Cup owners.... and for that matter 172 owners as well!

drive it like your supposed to. Mines ex-demo so god knows how hard its been driven in its former life.. On 28,000 now.... and its given stick everyday up to and over 6,000rpm.... cant help myself.... too much fun..... Si.

I get much better fuel economy from using higher RON petrol, crap unleaded (95RON) being the worst, Optimax and BP Ultimate being the best. SI.

Looked at a Black Evo 7 yesterday..... I agree anything else just look sh*t. ;)
