Ive listened to it (audio recording!) and it sounds like the bumper. I distinctly remember how my Cup sounded on impact and its nothing like that. Should be fine mate. Dont worry.

Id be careful. I bent mine (front subframe) on the Cup after a minor off-road excursion. Cost, including a lower steering arm was almost £800. Si.

Halfords made a match for my modial blue on the Cup when I needed some paint pronto. Matches a treat. Dont knock it.

Ive just got a 172 engine cover for my Cup. Gonna put the Cup 172 badge on it once I get a moment. Ive bought about half a dozen since theyre so cheap. Never know when some r****d migt try and steal them off the pillars.
