Problem is though Iain, give it a few weeks a newbie will sign up saying, just bought this mk2 172 and the rear wheel was looking funny, went down the road in it to see, rear wheel broke off, huge accident, people hurt - etc etc etc etc.
Surely better to just get it fixed than have the burdon...
Well from experience the rear is not adjustable so not likely to be suspension/steering arm, as you cant adjust it. The whole back end is completely fixed.
Id probably say youve tw*tted and bent the rear subframe. Was it a nudge or a hevay knock? Got pics? If it is rear subframe, will be...
aaronc youre spot on mate. Yes its nimble, quick/agile and can worry much bigger performance cars, but the handling does feel very light. Its good though when you get used to it. Hehe!
I use mine more in Winter, lightly dusted in salt roundabouts with half worn contis 24 hours before they were to be binned.. my friday night was complete.... :)
