On my Cup...
Let me tell you something about Renault, theyre French, common, and well known for building some of the greatest hot-hatches that have graced our roads. Day after day we see them being driven by grannys, learners and mums going shopping. This however is all about to change...
Yeah i agree about the upgrades. Looked into them myself only for the dealer to tell me they werent available retro-fit. And... they werent available even with a new car... so the point of the is???
LOL. Its the sound of the exhaust, the roar of the induction and the enthusiasm that makes it quicker then. Hehe!
Re: passenger, I hardly ever have passengers, so its kind of like, well not gonna need them then, strip it out, stuff in loft. :)
Ive taken the back seats out, completely, from my Cup and the difference does seem quite significant.
Is it mind over matter, or does it seriously improve performance? I have found it feels noticably quicker without the rear seats/parcel shelf yet it cant be that much additional weight.
Dont know if anyone else had this strange situation this morning...
Used hot water to get rid of the ICE of the Cup this morning, -2 degrees outside. Got inside, started her up etc, put on some music, lights, heater etc.
However... shoes became frozen to pedals! Were sticky for about 10 mins...
I bent a "lower steering arm" on my Cup. Its hard to explain which bit it us, but it kind of goes from the bottom of the wheel hub to the subframe.
It was damaged when I hit a low small post. But they can be bent by hitting a curb/mounting curbs etc.

GRAND TOTAL THEY ARE DREAMING OF £235.94
What a f**king joke!
I see wht your saying, its distinctly trolly height, but been to no supermarkets. :(
How far from dartford crossing is chelmsford?! I dont want to travel too far to be told its too expensive or they cant fit it for ages, yanno what I mean.
Anyone know any good shops for doing some minor paintwork.
I had the rear 1/4 of the Cup keyed on saturday night, its deep enough to go down to the original metal. Well annoyed but not going to dwell on it. I need a bodyshop to sort me out, without ripping me off.
The damage is like 3 inches...
