HELP PLEASE

Posted a topic earlier and its gone, anyway, went to have the tracking and wheels balanced on the Williams today to be told that my passanger side steering arm is bent. Anybody know if i can get it replaced or do i need a complete new steering rack?

When they say "arm" i take it they meant the rod ends? if so, not to much of an issue. Think there £14 from andyspears m8. Ask them if they meant "track rod ends"

A garage I was dealing with referred to the wishbone as the arm.. looking at about £65-70 to fix, if it is that.

track arms can be repleced separatly from the rack(you can buy a track arm+gaitor kit from renault for about £30>40)and track rods ends can be replaced(about £30 from renault).best to change the track arm and the track rod end at the same time(if ones bent theres a good chance the other will be as well)

I bent a "lower steering arm" on my Cup. Its hard to explain which bit it us, but it kind of goes from the bottom of the wheel hub to the subframe.

It was damaged when I hit a low small post. But they can be bent by hitting a curb/mounting curbs etc.

The steering arm is the part between rack and track rod end, threaded bar.

The bottom A arm, suspension arm, track arm, wishbone or whatever you care to call it is nowt to do with steering or tracking as its not adj.
