So, for the fuel pump, the switch live to the relay could have gone down, could either be the switch op off the ecu, or cable fault, lost earth etc?

ummmm! LOL. Well on mine to change a bulb, its a bumper off job, good job it only takes ten mins :o Oil filter is easier, and according to Kev steve, belts look a lot better to do than the mk2... Pesky pedestrians i say :nono:
