have to say my plenum is much cooler since having the gaskets. Might have something to do with the porting also. Cooler engine will give better performance surely.
ptfe gaskets are a must. keeps engine temp down considerably. hill_power_clio sells them 40quid delivered. spot on.
fitting wise there are a few tricky bolts and you need to remove the DS upper engine mount to get to one of them. Depends how good you are with a rachet
I did wonder this. Slightly top trumped. He did some funky lines into corners and hit the cones a few times, but overall he looked like he could handle himself very well.
Yeah I know, but they don't spray at all unless you have the lights on was what I mean. Remember when I first got the car. confused the hell out of me lol.
^^^ ah didn't realise the were for the headlight washers. thought they work off the same stalk as the fronts though? ie. you have to have the fronts on (and the lights) to get the headlight ones to work.
Which RS you driving? I'm refering to 182. Not sure about the 172/197/200 cat exits.
Take it to an exhaust manufacturer like prospeed, or Mark fish do it I believe. They're cut the cat down at the bottom end right up to the thread for the sensor, widening the cat exit. Then bits of welding is...
boo, could you not just change the HG first to see if it fixes the problem. Saying that, it's probably cheaper to get the new engine, and see bits of yours for parts.
