It does suit the ph1 well. i've got the cupra one at home and can't decide whether to fit it or not :) Don't really want to go to all the hastle of fitting it to find I don't like it.lol. Need to see one in the flesh really.
ask scott (doing the rally project). He's got some bits for cup race cars for sale, he did have some brake ducts a month or two back.

I don't understand this really. You buy cars with tints already in from dealers, so it must be legal to a degree. The X5 windows are really dark and it's not like you can peal them off.
GSF mate, you don't need bearing in the rears, so they'll be much cheaper. you could always get some uprated pads for the rear also, but not essential. I'd also suggest braided lines and castrol super dot 4 fluid :)

there is no way the 197 pull that much more to be honest. I've dragged with a few and they are both identical, 182 might edge it slightly due to power to weight. not really noticable. Put it down to crap driving in the vids ;)
ah ok, might give it a go. I might get some cheap hose then, use the plastic bend that goes into the tb hose and extend it down. Want to keep the engine bay nice and clean. I'm removing the battery so will do that first and see how it all looks in there.
it is a good forum. learnt a lot from it. Makes you want to spend money though :S. If you speak to the guys in the know you'll learn, but like with any forum there are sheep and people who talk crap. The more you read the more you know who is the best to listen to. DaveKG guides are top rate and...
