:( I'm hoping it might be that i didn't tighten them enough. I sprayed the mani's too, so paint thickness might be making a difference. It cracked this time when I tightened it.
PTFE could work I guess. Should withstand the temps. How are you suppose to put nuts and bolt on them? Ok the top one maybe, but the bottom of the lower inlet, no chance :(
Really? Can't work out if that was sarcasm ;) I noticed a difference yes, but had my BTB fitted at the same time, so...
Noticed that the 182 was wistling recently. This is after having the inlets ported etc. So for a while the whistle disappeared. Had a look under the bonnet and all the bolts on the upper and lower inlets were loose :S. I tightened them pretty tight when I put everything back together originally...
AG stuff is ok, but for a less "picky" market really. hense why you find it in halfords etc. It's good stuff, well some of the stuff is (bumper care is wicked stuff). But for me there are a lot better products out there for around the same money.
Chemical guys is good stuff and reasonably priced too. Also very easy to use/apply.
Wax wise i like dodo (although JD might disagree ;)), but meguiars stuff isn't too bad and quite cheap.
SRP isn't a good filler polish to be honest, so as said just prep the paint with it or use clay, then use some good protection on top of it. Try a selant before you put the wax on as it would be more durable than just wax.
Car looks good though mate. By fare the best colour, but i'm biased :D
He's one of you 172 boys (not sure if it's already been posted)
