I dont think the laptop works without a battery in, I'll check now though.

I havent had any probs with mine, battery still has a good few hours of charge as well after 6 months. Probably just unlucky mate.

I bought my car with 539s on front plus contisport ones on the rear, dunno if they're any good though, as my car goes sideways on roundabouts in the wet at about 30mph.Might be my driving though.

I worked it out that the car cost me approx £50 per horse, so i think buying a chip that can add potentially 10 bhp or more, for £500 is good sense. I am not an expert, but with exhaust, filter etc...with properly mapped chip, can work out exactly the same price per bhp as the original car...

The factory HU doesnt have sub outputs, so need to feed the subs off the rear speaker outputs. As there is more power through these than a line level, I need to have an amp capable of using this signal, Or there will be loads of noise, hissing/popping etc... And it could blow the amps.

tempted, but they are cheap. I spent £500 on my hifi sub, so I think Im gonna have to spend big money to get anywhere near the same bass. A guy on ebay is selling two for £120. Just wondering if they accept high level input?
