Mine squeal a lot, it is usually just brake dust between the pad and disc. Only other time it has done it for me I decided to take mine out and noticed there was some grooves in the pad though in 1 corner, rubbed it down flat again and the squealing went away.

A few of us went behind the Chill Factore the other night where it is literally pitch black. Think the guy had a flash gun (it's called something like that) and used long exposure, got some good pictures actually.

You sound like you're in the same mindset as me where ATI and AMD were always sub standard and Intel and nVidia were there market leaders. Think I'd have to spend some serious time with their kit to change that. Shows how much I care for ATI products really doesn't it lol

Don't get the 182 cup. If you're going for a 182 it needs to be a FF or a Trophy. The 172 cup however is a good choice.
