Fuses don't 'click', thats what a relay does ;)Ideally you need an auto-spark.
I'd offer my services but you're a little far from Nottingham - So, firstly confirm its not the fuse! (Even though you have had occasional motor action confirm the fuse is right by removing it and viewing it)...
The coil pack shares the ignition controlled live hence its continuity. Have you checked the output voltage from the fuel pump relay first of all to see if that's giving a good +12v? If its only throwing out +0.18v then it could be the relay at fault or the votage feed from the switched side...
Re: Breaking problem
SiR - Front end up, Wheels off and lock the steering over left then right - you will then be able to see the brake pads from the inspection slot in the calliper casting allowing you to guage the "wear" of each pads remaining friction material. Bare in mind that the cars...
Gutted - Next thing then is to check the singals and look for continuity between the sensor and the ECM. For this you will need a digital multi meter or similar approved device commonly reffered to as a "Volt" meter.
Test '1'
Checking the sensor multiplug/outputs
The sensors multiplug...
The Clio III uses a multiwire CANBUS network. According to the little info I can find on the u380 it won't work on CANBUS systems... for that you'll need to buy the MS300 setup which apparently is the u380's CAN enabled sucessor.
Obviously, don't expect bells and whistles from it like ABS...
Is it a D7F or a D4F (8v or 16v)? Either way, its 99% going to be wiring related rather than the MAP Sensor itself - Do you have access to a Digital Multi Meter?
You need to ensure the wiring is continuous between the sensor and the ECM. Also, make sure the sheathing isn't damaged especially...
Re: my clio 182cup sounds like a scooby and is really slow and missing like its on 3
Paper towels... lots of em + patience.
A pippet with long draw tube.
For the complete pikey/clampit (and depending on volume of water in the plug wells if you're not worried about hydrolocking the lump), just...
You sure you can't get a 10mm ring spanner around them? I know its tight and you do risk skinning your knuckles but I'm sure you can get to them from the bottom. Failing that you're gonna need a stud extractor set to grip the extrusions.

Not really a proven diagnosis of a faulty HO2 i'm afraid - To be sure it needs a diagnostic session as the Live data will show you all you need to know (and more). The heater element only really aids the sensor at initial cold start anyway as the sensors only work correctly when hot (hence the...
As above, if its a Cup model it will 100% be the sender in the rear of the gearbox playing silly beggars. Its pretty common and a simple DIY job. If its not a Cup model then it'll be an issue with the ABS ring-gear or a wheel sensor so have each wheel off and look for split CV boots that have...
Sure you've not put a K9K in by mistake? :rasp: I think you'd be best off getting the car looked at by someone with the kit to see what's going off. The 182 B/E shouldn't make any difference but the new ECU might; is it genuine unit or a supposed "Cup" unit that's been purchased with the promise...
For some reason, whenever i've seen K9K's with EGR faults they always manifest a fault with the glow plug relay to - What "DF" code(s) did the diagnostic kit give?
Normally, if the EGR valve/position sensor is fubar'd you'll get codes such as "DF084" and "DF061" which states the position...
Very true Maynard, "cheapest isn't always bestest" but then again the same can be said for paying more than is needed! There's lots of so called "Specialists" out there that have nothing more than the Autodata process and the balls to give it a go. Sometimes, when money is tight you can't go...
Is it too much trouble to pop the new wheel off and take a look-see at the connector?
Normally, inside the wheel Renault use red & green for the horn button live and ground but the actual loom side of the multiplug could be different as you mention.
You just know that the 360 will fall in price as soon as the PS3 comes out aswell... as much as I hate the Microsoft Corporation they've got a winner in the 360 as it rivals some £2k PC's hardware wise. Will be replacing my XBox with a 360 later in the week for PGR3 and Halo3 alone.
s**t mate that's bad and it's only 5 minutes up the road from me to! As above, it's only metal at the end of the day and can be replaced but it's annoying as fook that this type of person roams the streets with a concealed weapon for the sole purpose of jacking your motor and possesions yet...
Take them to the cleaners then for compensation if they don't deliver on that promise, especially if you have it in writing but knowing the mastercare group they'll have some BS small print that will get them out of it.
Personally not gonna bother with the 360 for a few months. I'll let my...
Tape!!! Tape you say!!
Nice camera, how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? My Panasonic Mini DV came in exactly the same way. The cheeky beggars neglect telling you that the unit comes without an essential Mini DV cassette and if you'd known then you'd proberbly have opted to buy...
In the case of Hire Purchase agreements it's always advisable to speak to the creditor no matter what. The ymight turn around and say they're sending the boys round for the rings on your finger but on the other hand they might want to keep the money rolling on in as they're making more money...
