I drove with mine on all the time.. Sat Nav mainly, but because I had to keep moving it when I parked up, it soon got boring. I ended up never using it.. so selling it all now. If it was a more permanent thing, Id use it all the time.. shame you cant leave things on show in ya cars nowadays.

Yea, depending on the screen tho. Some cant handle the voltage changes.. most can, some cant. In that case, you would need a regulated supply.
