Same here. Had a set of Gaz for my 172 Cup. Lasted a month. Went through x2 rear dampers (seals failed), they are noisy, clunky and ruin the car. I replaced them with some H&R's, and they were in a different league. If you value the ride quality with a nice drop, H&R all the way. I like em so...
SRP/EPG is hard to beat value wise imo. I gave the 197 a clay/srp, then x2 egp, and it came out fekking awesome!!! Works so well on Albi Blue imo. My prefered combo tbh.
Right. Bets bet is, first swap the bulb out of the faulty light, into the good light. If good light side now goes dull, its the bulb. if not, its the ballast. Ballast is the box under the headlight ;)
.... and no its wont be under warranty lol, its over 3 years old, and wasnt even fitted to...
With the Maxogen kit, it comes with a blank to seal off the hole left by the original airbox pipework.... Seen here,
Keeps the heat away from the Maxogen inlet ;)
My money would be on it being removed for an oil change, then wound back on too tight. Then with all the vibration/heat from the engine, it sheared the studs
You'll stuggle to go much lower with MK3's tbh.... the underbody sits much lower than the MK2's. The MK2 bumper is lower/deeper than the MK3 also, thus giving a lower stance from the front ;)
Pretty sure Renaut dont change the Aux belt @ 36k.......its not in thier service schedule iirc? Its only people on here who do (me included). Its good practice.
Yup, drop the rear beam, rear bumper off.... iirc the system needs twisting to clear the beam. You can cut it, Renault sell a sleave to reconnect if need be, but better to keep it in one piece :)
