Thats a point is chips away a franchise ? i dont know how they train them but i have heard good and bad experiences with them so luck of the draw i guess.
Will i be able to drive about 8 miles to my uncles garage ? he said i would be ok if i take it easy and i dont have any gearbox oil and i dont know how to put it in :(
Is it that big a deal that a thread needs posting ? personally would just have thought oops and turned them off.
Lol, oh well, i'll jump on the bandwagon...
Chav !
I was putting my standard springs back onto my car yesterday and basically i couldnt get the bottom of the strut to line up with the bolt holes if you know what i mean ? :S
so i had to put a LOT of weight down on the wishbone to get it in it took me about an hour with a mate, anyway long story...
True, but that is if it is the button!
I am not at home at the moment so i cannot check, i am just looking for options.
Thanks a lot for the advice though, its very much appritiated.
So, just to clarify if i were to get a key from ebay, i could remove the chip, put it in my key and then...
The cost of the key is what i am trying to avoid, i have looked into the key and the button does indeed seem broken so i will look into that a bit more if its a common problem.
Is it possible at all to replace just the board with the button on etc with another key and get it reprogrammed?
Hey, I am a friend of Aluco's and he suggested asking for advice here from anybody that is willing.
I have a R Reg Mk 2 ph 1 clio and the remote locking has stopped working, as far as i can tell, this is a problem with the remote itself and not the battery (the key still works for ignition...

Took roughly 25 minuites for it to be fit...
ground pics
And then i thought... "That looks unusually high :S" and realised it was still on an axle stand ;)
(I was makeshift fixing my exhaust mount as it perished whilst changing the backboxes.
My uncle fit it for me so free.
It doesnt look the same when its on the floor, that picture was taken from below when it was on the ramp.
=] it doesnt change the sound much, idle is a small bit deeper and the only other time it sounds different to standard is under full throlle past 4k revs...
Went to have my tracking done and backbox fitted today,
The backbox cost me £36 delivered off ebay :D bargain!
Up on the ramp
New back box on the floor
Out with the old...
In with the new
:)
Got tracking and fitment for free too.
Since when do chavs skate,
Lol.
Its not even really rat style, to me it just looks like an old van a bunch of skate kids bought and covered with stickers =] I really like it especially if he collected the stickers over time its like a time line of stuff hes bought/events and places hes been...
