Had the car up on the jack the other day as the heat shield was rattling when revving. So tightened it up and blipped the throttle to see if it had stopped (which it had) and noticed that the joint between the manifold and the cat is blowing. Looks really rusty too. Is this normal?
the ones in the 197 weren't made very well. bolster were always wearing away. My trendlines are great. Be careful with the 'leather' as it scratches easily, but appart from that they are miles better than standard sport seats.
hmmmm, its not going to be an easy job if you have no idea what you're doing. PC would probably struggle anyways. I'd take it back mate. Depending how bad it is, it might require wet sanding and buffing up.
yeah go for some cobras, nice seats and not too pricey. Have a look on demontweeks to see what options you have for the car. Subframe is usually the deciding factor.
if it has stopped working on both keys i doubt its a broken key (light on the fobs illuminating? Battery ok? is the immobiliser staying on?) which means it probably ecu or reciever issue. You could try this...
lol :o I wish. Just noticed a few things recently. Think it might be something to do with the brakes which are decidingly poor atm.
Its happens at crawling speed too. more noticeable when turning .
