the only problem with the standard box is the cold air feed surely? If you could supply a decent one to it then it would be just as good as a viper/maxogen.
Do you think power to weight will be much different on the now 250 compared to the r26? I'm sceptical
Not sure about the new front end on the clio. Its spec sounds a bit better, but we will have to see how the new gearing fares.
Has the guy got a 172/182 to test the cats? Or are you going to be guinee pig tooney? ;) Also, is the 172 one for ph1 or ph2? Or do they fit both? Mate of mine could be interested in one.
nice job mate. Its starting to look like you are going to have to swap everything from the old to the new one. I can't believe that the plastic in the gearbox hasn't caused any issues yet. fingers crossed it wont like..:)
there is a company in St Helens that makes up this paint. do a search on here for anthracite code or paint and it should pop up. They are called Autopaint! code is 205-110
which model we talking here, as the mk3 is poor on petrol due to weight. I'd have said that the mk2 1.2-1.6 should be getting around 36-40mpg when driven carefully.
it is a pain in the arse, but keep at it. you need to press down on the reverse and push it in the opposite direction to the button side. You will be able to move it with the key ring on, but you will have to remove the key ring to fully seperate it.
Pretty sure you wouldn't get pads with the discs unless stated. It doesn't say that on the ktec webby. Shame you haven't had the best communication throughout
Do you recon you'd have one to bring with you to the meet next sunday Toony? As there is going to be about 40 people there, could be a good time to build more concrete interest.
